The arrival of the Autumn comes with fruits ripened to its crust. The smell is pregnant with the scent of ripened fruits, filled with a sense of completion. I have never been a big fan of spring; it always seems so hurried. You count days and then work, work definitely outgrows the days. On the other hand, autumn lets you sit and observe the fall of leaves from trees around you as they slowly drift down. It makes you notice the small things which you don’t otherwise. The crunch sound of leaves, the hue that paints the surroundings. The grays of our area, the calmness it brings with it.  Every person resembles a season, I do Autumn. It’s nostalgic to me and as the world around you becomes foggy and yet for me and for lots of others it brings clarity.

Bilal is one of my friends who’s blind and when asked how this autumn feels? He goes back to his childhood and talks about the cold breeze in the mornings and evenings with the warmth of the sun on his skin during daytime and the scent of ripened paddy all around.

In these images I'm trying to portray intimate friendships, the bonds that define us, the gentle beauty in everyday scenes of our ordinary lives.
